Nowadays, museums need to be informative as well as Instagrammable to cater to the younger generation. Well, Louvre Abu Dhabi is one of them. We’re talking an intricately designed dome roof created by Jean Nouvel and a stunning water backdrop care of the ancient falaj water system, to name a few. The over 600 displays don’t disappoint, either — from the sculptures and paintings to the scriptures and other cultural artefacts. A few things not to miss for a photo op: The Fountain of Light, the Untitled I-IX Series of 9 Panels by Cy Twombly, and the Tapestry of Daniel and Nebuchadnezzar!
